Biography
Joan Williams was the high school crush of Jay Garrick who Joan originally rejected. Later after being the Flash he used his powers to become a football star to impress Joan and later decided to be a superhero. As a superhero, Jay Garrick helped Joan when his father was kidnapped.[6] The events of Crisis on Infinite Earths retconned both Jay and Joan and the entire Keystone City citizens in a coma until Barry Allen would revive them. They would both end up married and Jay would retire from the Justice Society of America for awhile until returning to the group
