Biography
Kai was a male human from Earthrealm who came to seek out fighting skills from great masters across Asia where he eventually came to meet Liu Kang. The Shaolin came to recruit Kai to be part of a new generation of warriors under his tutelage where he became part of the secretive White Lotus Society. After his training, he came to depart the order and began a quest for enlightenment leading to him travelling the world. He came to reunite with Liu Kang when the Elder God Shinnok emerged from the NetherRealm in an attempt to conquer all worlds. This saw Kai gathering to assist Raiden along with the other protectors of Earthrealm as they battled this threat.

Kai was shown to be able to shoot out fireballs that he fired either into the air or the ground to strike his opponents.
He was known to wield a Ghurka Knife and a Spiked Club in combat.
