Kane, Thomas

Thomas Kane was the second officer aboard the Nostromo. Kane was a member of the team who left the Nostromo to investigate the crashed alien ship on LV426. Once aboard, Kane discovered a whole mess of what seemed to be eggs, and ended up having a facehugger attached to his head. Eventually the creature died and fell off, and Kane seemed fine until the crew eating their last meal before they were to go back into their cryotubes for the return trip to Earth. Kane went into convulsions, and suddenly an alien chestburster (planted inside him by the facehugger) exploded from his chest, killing him almost instantly.
