Kryptonite (Lois and Clark)

Kryptonite is an element created from the substance of the planet Krypton after its destruction. A radioactive element, it weakens and eventually kills Kryptonians.

A variation, Red Kryptonite, could make Superman a non-caring individual, exchange his kryptonian powers with another, and make him unable to control his powers.
