Powers and abilities

Though a human, he was a Force-sensitive allowing him to manipulate that energy field to achieve various feats.

A unique aspect of Force manipulation he was capable of accomplishing was freezing time in certain locations. When a blaster was fired at him, Kylo managed to freeze the bolt in mid air leaving suspended in its tracks. After he departed the area, the bolt resumed its course and struck rocks instead of him.

He had crafted his own unique lightsaber that generated a red blade with smaller energy protrusions emerging from the hilt. Kylo Ren was shown to be skilled in its use as he was able to battle the ranks of the Praetorian Guard.
