History
The Leviathon Tide
Many years ago, the Leviathon's came upon a colony formed by the Universal Inhumans where great beasts landed on the planet's surface to raze and cleanse it for their queen. In opposition to the interstellar beast, a female warrior emerged who had the gift of summoning monsters from anywhere in the universe to her aid. Despite her valiant struggle, she was killed and the planet was consumed by the Leviathons. (Monsters Unleashed v2 #3) A lone Leviathon once attacked Planet X that was the capital of the Branch Worlds of the Flora Colossus where it burnt much of the world before escaping. (Guardians of the Galaxy v4 #1.MU)
It was then that Kid Kaiju ended up summoning Goliathon's to Earth where they gathered to oppose the Leviathons. Working together, the gigantic monsters managed to defeat the alien invaders with the Inhumans of Earth informing the planet's heroes of the nature of the threat. Meanwhile, the Leviathon's informed their queen mother of the emergence of a new Inhuman summoner and she dispatched her Servitors to slay the boy whilst sending the entirety of her horde to Earth to conquer it to be their new spawning ground. Overview
In appearance, the Leviathons were titanic monsters that came in a variety of shapes and forms. (Monsters Unleashed v2 #3)
The species was led by a queen who awoke every thousand years to find worlds to consume of resources where she nested on the destroyed world. The personal attendants of the queen were her Servitors that acted as her eyes and enforced her will. She was able to probe their minds to learn new information and often dispatched them to serve as assassins to eliminate any threat to her spawning. (Monsters Unleashed v2 #3)
