Magneto (Marvel Animated)

'''Magneto''' was a Holocaust survivor, and befriended [[Xavier, Charles (Marvel Animated)|Charles Xavier]] in Israel. Believing [[Mutant (Marvel)|mutants]] would never be accepted, he began a great crusade for mutantkind. Not long ago, Magneto created [[Asteroid M]], a place in space where all he wanted was for mutants to live away from humans who feared and hated them. But it was one of his [[Acolytes]], [[Cortez, Fabian (Marvel Animated)|Fabian Cortez]], who betrayed his leader and destroyed the "Sanctuary" place. But Magneto has not always been an enemy of the X-Men. He joined forces with the X-Men to destroy the giant robot known as [[Master Mold]] and the [[Sentinels (Marvel Animated)|Sentinels]], [[Mister Sinister (Marvel Animated)|Mister Sinister]] and [[Apocalypse (Marvel Animated)|Apocalypse]], and even helped save Xavier's life, Magneto's goals have not changed. He worked together with Professor Xavier when they were in the [[Savage Land]]. He helped defeat Apocalypse, when he wanted to re-create the world at his own image. He also helped defeat the [[Phalanx (Marvel Animated)|Phalanx]], an alien race that wanted to assimilate Earth. When Xavier was attacked in national TV by [[Creed, Graydon (Marvel Animated)|Graydon Creed]], Magneto viewed it as a sign to create a [[Mutant Liberation Front (Marvel Animated)|Mutant Liberation Front]] to stop humans once and for all.
