Today in Multiversal History - April 19 1934: Real World - A photograph is taken that allegedly shows the Loch Ness Monster. 1961: Real World - The Bay of Pigs Invasion ends in failure. 1971: Real World - Salyut 1, the first manned space station, is launched by the Soviet Union. 1993: Real World - Branch Davidian leader David Koresh and numerous followers die in a fire that consumes their compound. 1995: Real World - The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City is bombed; 168 die in the attack. 2005: Real World - Joseph Ratzinger becomes Pope Benedict XVI.
