Mega-Beam

The Mega Beam is a giant laser satellite created by the scientists at Puma-Dyne Labs. It was designed to use its powerful laser beam from orbit to stop earthquakes with surgical precision, although in the wrong hands it could become a deadly weapon. The Mega Beam was stolen by Zed before it could be put into orbit, and Dr. Lieter Greenbox ordered it trained on Megakat City and fired. The deranged inventor was stopped when the Swat Kats severed his connection to Zed, causing Zed to collapse. The Mega Beam is thought to have been destroyed following this.
