With his business concluded, Garibaldi was prepared to return back to Mars but then Babylon 5 was approached by a Soul Hunter ship who revealed that Dr. Bryson had stolen a powerful vessel of souls from their Whisper Gallery and he had come to recover it. By this point, Bryson had gone into hiding as he had become influenced by the souls within the vessel who wanted revenge against their captor. (Movie: The River of Souls)
