- The Nightstalkers were created by Dan G. Chichester where they made their first appearance in Nightstalkers v1 #1 (November, 1992).

- In Blade: Trinity, the Nightstalkers made an appearance in the live-action film with a different backstory. They were a team of young vampire hunters that were led by Abigail Whistler and Hannibal King. After the death of his mentor Abraham Whistler, Blade was freed by the Nightstalkers and he reluctantly allied with them to stop the vampire progenitor Drake. A number of the Nightstalkers were young kids or teenagers that were not suited for combat but provided remote assistance from their heat quarters.
