No-Name of the Brood is a female comic extraterrestrial character who features in Marvel Comics.

No-Name was member of the Brood race who was among the finest warrior-primes on Broodworld alongside her sisters. They were dispatched to deal with intruders that had escaped in the catacombs beneath their homeworld where they were attacked by creatures more fearsome then their kind. It was in that moment that a great wave of energy was released by an ancient foe of the Brood with this soul seeking out and judging their kind by turning them into crystal. The Brood that became No-Name was alongside her sisters swallowed by a great beast that was exposed to this power and thus crystallised as Broodworld was destroyed with the carcass falling into space. Thus, the body became a makeshift spacecraft that was to transport the surviving sisters to a new world to make their nest. Eventually, it came to fall on the planet of Sakaar where they became enslaved by the native inhabitants who used them in gladiatorial matches. She along with her sisters were dispatched in one battle where they attacked when two teams were battling one another. The other Brood were killed leaving No-Name the only survivor who joined the ranks of the survivors that eventually became the Warbound. (Incredible Hulk v2 #94)

In a moment of passion, she pulled Miek to her and the pair came to mate leading to her becoming pregnant. No-Name then laid eggs in secret that hatched into mindless savage hybrid offspring that only sought to consume prey. These children then attempted to eat a Sakaaran Imperial child with No-Name fighting her instincts and slaying her own children to save the innocent. (World War Hulk Aftersmash: Warbound v1 #4)

During the fight, they came to learnt that Miek had reproduced after a mutation in his biology but his offspring were unable to survive without feasting on the blood of the Hulk. Thus, he was engaging in any act to ensure the survival of his species. No-Name stated that the Warbound would ensure that his children survived but that he could not be pardoned for his crimes so easily. This led to a battle with the Hulk knocking Miek into the mountains when he tried to take control over Skaar. However, the Green Scar had attempted to save Miek but the Sakaaran Native refused and instead allowed himself to be swallowed into the collapsing ground which seemingly killed him. In the aftermath, the Brood decided to remain in the Savage Land to seek out any surviving Sakaaran Natives that had been in hiding from Miek and help them prosper in the region. (Incredible Hulks v1 #625)

She eventually came to learn of sightings of other Brood in New York's, Chinatown where she travelled in the underground to track them. Once there, she discovered that a human named Zheng Bao Yu was responsible for creating genetically modified Brood born from an incubator as continuation of her fathers experiments. The Defenders arrived on the scene to stop these plans with No-Name joining them as she believed these creations to not be true Brood and had to be destroyed. Valkyrie came to sense that No-Name had within her the potential to become of the Valkyrior though she departed to continue to hunt down the genetic experiments and wipe out these Brood. (Fearless Defenders v1 #8)

Personality and attributes

Originally, No-Name was bound by instincts to her people where she lived to only kill, conquer and consume. This ended when the last of her sisters died and she was freed from her races hive mind. Once she became one of the Warbound, she came to deny her own biology and went from eating children of other races to caring for them. Despite this, she came to fear her secret hunger that desired for her to kill and devour other races. In one instance, she killed her Brood/Sakaaran Native hybrid children when they threatened to kill a Sakaaran Imperial child that looked up to her. (World War Hulk Aftersmash: Warbound v1 #4)

Powers and abilities

As a Brood, she served as a Warrior Prime with her being chemically bonded to her Queen and sisters. (World War Hulk Aftersmash: Warbound v1 #4)
