History
Operation Orbs (演算宝珠)
For the conflict on their borders, the Empire sought to create a rapid response task force following suggestions made by Tanya von Degurechaff. To that end, they had her recruit 48 operatives to join the Imperial Army 203rd Air Mage Battalion that was to serve as part of this elite force. Following a period of training, they were outfitted with the new Type 97 Elinium Orb that enhanced their abilities during operations in the field.
Overview
In appearance, the Orbs were jewels of varying size that typically were worn as lockets around the users neck.
The jewels were able to operate as a kind of computer with them mystically projecting data to their user including tactical information. They were able to be used to communicate with other wearers and could also be used to record information.
