The Orochi Group was a company that was created by Samuel Chandra in 1949 where it started as an international investment group that sponsored technological and economic developments in the wake of World War II. After its establishment in Tokyo, the young corporation began to attract the brightest minds in the world. Several years later, their eight sub-divisions was set forth to the global market and influencing events.
Overview
In appearance, the Orochi Group was the largest and most powerful corporation on the planet where they influenced every aspect of modern science and innovation. They strode forward as the leader player in economic, technological and political fields on a worldwide level.
It was said that they wanted power regardless of the costs. The corporation was said to cast a long shadow and that it answered to no outside agency. Rumours spoke of their occult research and that they had technology twenty years ahead of their time.
The company was divided into the Eight Heads that were the daughter corporations of the group and followed the directives set out by their leader. These companies included:

The Orochi Group had created an elite cadre of warriors known as the Mitsubachi that were special operatives recruited by Samuel Chandra himself. They represented the pinnacle of the security forces that were operated by the corporation.
Their headquarters was their corporate front centred at Orochi Tower that was situated in Tokyo just off the coast of Kaidan.

- The Orochi Group was created by Ragnar Tørnquist and Funcom where it featured in the setting of The Secret World.
- Its name was based on the 8-headed Japanese dragon known Yamata no Orochi from mythology.
