History
The OsPhone was a new type of cellular phone technology that was developed by Oscorp Industries though had only reached the prototype stage in 2012. At the time, one such phone was present at the Oscorp building during the spread of the Cross-Species that had escaped containment. Among those infected was Gwen Stacey though Spider-Man managed to save her from further attacks. Spider-Man decided to help find a cure for Stacey and stop the Cross-Species with Gwen asking him to take the prototype OsPhone so that they could better communicate.
