History
The Sea Devils
In 2084, a colony of Sea Devils were awakened from hibernation by the Silurians who desired their use as shock troops to invade Sea Base 4 in order to trigger a war. Though well prepared, these warriors were ultimately killed when the Fifth Doctor made use of Hexachromite gas against them. (Episode: Warriors of the Deep)
Overview
Sea Devils are cold-blooded reptilian humanoids, with large eyes and turtle-like snouts, resembling humanoid dinosaurs more than the Silurians do. Unlike the Silurians, they do not have a third eye and rely more on hand-held weaponry. Though more aggressive than their Silurian cousins, they're more vulnerable to hexachromite, a gas lethal to reptiles which had almost instant effects on the Sea Devils as opposed to the Silurians, who lingered far longer before succumbing.
