Sensation Engines are an implant that feature in the game Remember Me.

History

Sensation Engines were created by Antoine Cartier-Wells who became the founder of the corporation known as Memorize. Originally, these implants were used to simply retain or delete memories but society began abusing the technology who began using it to remove unhappy memories or steal new ones. Some of these acquisitions did fail leading to a corruption of the host who became a semi-mindless being called a Leaper.

Overview

A Sensen were digital devices where the latest generation appearing as implants that were fitted on the neck and served as an interface that primarily operated by accessing the memory centers of the brain but provided additional features. Originally, their purpose was to help in retaining or deleting memories or engage in other memory-related uses such as sharing memories between parties.
