She came to find that Ian Rogers had in fact survived after he healed from his injuries with her taking care of the boy. They remained in Dimension Z for years where she came to be an adoptive mother to the boy as he grew to adulthood. By this point, they worked to sabotage the efforts of Arnim Zola where during one mission Sharon was captured with Ian believing that she had been killed. Zola had nefarious purpose for her where he kept her captive when he later staged an invasion of Earth using his mutate army. Carter was in Zola's tower that had made the jump to Earth as Zola intended to reclaim his daughter Jet. (Captain America v7 #23) Ian Rogers came to rescue her from mutates and was reunited with his adoptive mother. However, they learnt that Arnim Zola intended to detonate his omega bomb to kill everyone in the city after he recovered Jet. The bomb though was accidentally triggered early with Falcon seemingly having to sacrifice himself to stop it by taking it to low orbit. The Avengers then gathered to seemingly mourn Sam Wilson's death with Sharon reuniting with Steve Rogers in that moment. The heroes were then overjoyed to find that Falcon had miraculously survived as his Vibranium wings had absorbed the brunt of the explosion. Upon seeing Jet Zola, Sharon came to accuse her of being a spy for her biological father Arnim Zola as Carter had overheard spy reports to him. This led to the Avengers restraining Jet who evaded the heroes and decided she had no choice but to return to her fathers service whereupon they left back for Dimension Z. A week later, the world recovered and the Avengers gathered as the now elderly and depowered Steve Rogers named Sam Wilson to be his replacement as the new Captain America. - In Hail Hydra v1 (2015), a version of Sharon Carter survived on Battleworld where she resided in the realm of the Hydra Empire.
