Simon Barr

Dr. Simon Barr was the chief computer technician in the Hive. He was an arrogant British man who had once been a professor of Lisa Addison's. At the time of the T-Virus outbreak, Dr. Barr was out of the country and thus survived the disaster.

Comments

According to the novel Genesis, Barr was not only the Hive's chief computer expert, but also the head programmer of the Red Queen and modeled the supercomputer's holographic representation on Angela Ashford at the behest of Umbrella's board of directors. However, as this goes against the dialogue in the film, that the holographic representation "was modeled on the head programmer's daughter," it is likely that this is not canon.
