Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog is a native of the planet Mobius, and chief nemesis of the evil Doctor Robotnik and his evil plans for the planet. His best friend and sidekick is Miles Prower, nicknamed Tails. Sonic's main gift is his natural super speed, and he can move at speeds approaching that of light. He has an attack technique known as the Super Sonic Spin, wherein he becomes like a buzzsaw and can cut through steel. He can also transform into Super Sonic when he acquires all seven Chaos Emeralds, and into Hyper Sonic when he acquires the seven Super Emeralds on top of that.

Sonic has two siblings, Sonia (his sister) and Manik (his brother). Sonia is a pink hedgehog, who wears a purple dress. The three are the children of Queen Aleena Hedgehog, who was the original queen of Mobius before Princess Sally's family ruled Mobius. They are chased by Doctor Robotnik and his bumbling bounty hunter sidekicks Sleet and Dingo. The reason that he is chasing the three is because of a prophecy made by the Oracle of Delphius that the Queen's three children will one day find their mother and together destroy Robotnik's reign and become the rulers again.
The three siblings have magical amulets that not only change into musical instrements but change into weapons when the triplets are in perfect harmony with each other. Sonic's amulet is an electric guitar/gun. The three use the amulets not only to fight Robotnik's forces but to also have instruments for their underground rock and roll band Sonic Underground.
