History
Spider-Man's Suit was a superhero costume that was developed by Peter Parker for his persona as Spider-Man.
After a battle against Firebrand, Spider-Man was badly wounded by the heat-based attacks of the villain and was taken by the Fantastic Four to recover at the Baxter Building. However, his costume was badly damaged in the fight with Reed Richards creating a new one made from Unstable Molecules. This suit was more resistant to fire-based attacks and Spider-Man used it to defeat Firebrand. However, the black costume only impacted on his appearance as a hero and certain difficulties with the cybernetic interface meant that Spider-Man returned the suit to Mr. Fantastic with him instead sewing together his old costume again. Whilst staying with Tony Stark, he was provided a new armored suit to replace his costume with this being the Iron Spider armor. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #529)
In an effort to fight the new Hobgoblin, Parker used the equipment at Horizon Labs to build a stealth suit that was impervious to sonic attacks. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #650)
At Horizon, he made further adjustments to his equipment which he included a utility belt that now contained cartridges for various kinds of gadgets. These included acid webbing, magnetic webbing, freezing capsules and Spider-Tracers that were wired for sound. He also outfitted himself with a new Spider-Signal that included a ultra-violet setting to examine crime scenes. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #675)
Afterwards, J. Jonah Jameson decided as part of his efforts to help Spider-Man and get further support for him came to fund the creation of a new Spider-Man suit. Through Threats and Menaces, a new costume was created that had improved capabilities and in addition streamed the Wall-Crawler's activities. This allowed him to choose pictures to take or video his activities whilst still maintaining his secret identity. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #61) This became useful in improving his reputation with the public and helping him expose some of Mayor Fisk's criminal activities. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #63)

- Iron Spider : an advanced costume created by Iron Man for use by Spider-Man. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #529)
- Future Foundation Suit :
- Stealth Suit : a dark suit with neon lights that warped light and sound around it making it invisible to others along with being impervious to sonic attacks. Special googles needed to be warn in order to see the person wearing the suit. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #650)
- Threats & Menaces Suit : a costume designed by the Threats & Menaces media outlet by J. Jonah Jameson where it contained numerous cameras in the lenses allowing for the user to stream their activities. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #61) It was also said to improve Spider-Man's capabilities such as his speed. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #63)

- Spider-Man's Suit was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko where it made its first appearance in Amazing Fantasy v1 #15 (August, 1962).
Alternate Versions
- In What If? The Punisher v1 #1 (2018), an alternate What If world setting that was shown that had a different version of events. On this world, Peter Parker killed the burglar who murdered his Uncle Ben whereupon he decided to make use of guns in killing criminals when he became known as the Punishing Spider. After a battle with the Green Goblin, he incorporated chain guns into his Web-Shooters that were equipped with various types of ammunition which he used to kill the Sinister Six. He later confronted the Green Goblin who had learnt that the Punishing Spider was Peter Parker and targeted his girlfriend Gwen Stacy. The Punishing Spider managed to kill the Green Goblin and barely saved Gwen Stacy where he decided to abandon the vigilante life in order to make a future with his love. Thus, he threw away his Punishing Spider costume in a bin which was found by Frank Castle who was traumatised after he was caught in gang war with his family killed in a crossfire.

Television
- In Spider-Man, the suit appeared in the setting of the 1990s animated television series.
- In Spider-Man, the suit appeared in the 2017 animated television series where it went through several iterations. The original was created by Peter Parker at his home with local material after he gained his superpowers and was used in his career in wrestling. He then began to make use of it as he started operating as the superhero known as Spider-Man. It was damaged followed a battle with the Spider-Slayer with Peter Parker using his research laboratory at the Horizon High science academy laboratory to make a new Spider-Man Suit.
Films
- In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man's Suit made a number of appearances in the shared continuity setting.
- In Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man's Suit first appeared in the live-action film with it being originally made by Spider-Man and made of simple clothing along with goggles as well as webshooters allowing him to operate as a superhero. After being recruited by Iron Man, he was provided a more advanced suit that resembled his comic incarnation.
- In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man's Suit appeared in the live-action film where it was shown in flashbacks with Tony Stark providing it to him in an advanced briefcase. It was shown that the suit contained a number of advanced features including a parachute that deployed from the back and a tracking system allowing Iron Man to find Spider-Man's location. The suit was also equipped with a HUD and had a number of subsystems that were originally hidden behind the Training Wheels Protocol with among these being an advanced AI that provided guidance and advice. Spider-Man named the AI Karen who detailed a number of other features including the Baby Monitor Protocol that recorded everything seen by it, a drone that deployed from the spider-emblem and had 576 possible web-shooter combinations including web grenades or taser webs. From the webshooters, a spider-tracer could be deployed to track a target with a holographic map detailing the location. Tony Stark took the suit back from Spider-Man after he believed that he boy was being irresponsible with it forcing Parker to use his home-made suit to battle the Vulture. Stark later intended to induct Spider-Man into the Avengers with a more advanced Spider-Man Suit but Peter refused stating he wished to protect his neighbourhood instead and was provided the first advanced Spider-Man Suit.
- In Avengers: Infinity War, Spider-Man's Suit appeared in the setting of the live-action film with Peter Parker wearing it during the Black Order's attack on Earth. When he was on the alien ship, Tony Stark deployed the upgraded Iron Spider suit he had made for Spider-Man allowing him to operate in the upper atmosphere.
- In Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man's Suit and variations of it appeared in the live-action sequel. After the Blip, Peter was shown to still operate the Iron Spider uniform as he continued being a superhero. During the school trip to Europe, he left the nanotech suit behind but his Aunt May left him the Starktech Spider-Man Suit in case he needed to operate being a hero. He came to use this to battle the water Elemental that manifested in Venice whereupon he was recruited by Nick Fury to help stop the danger. Due to Spider-Man's worry about his secret identity being exposed, Fury had Parker a special black Stealth Suit made for him to hide his operations in Europe where the media came to believe he was a local superhero called the Night Monkey. In the fight against Mysterio, Peter using Tony Stark's equipment crafted a new Spider-Man Suit for himself that was better equipped to battle the villain.

- In Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Spider-Man's Suit along with a number of variations appeared as alternate costumes for Spider-Man in the fighting video game.
