Biography

Origin

Captain Marvel battles the Supreme Intelligence's Sentry in Captain Marvel v1 #16.

The Supreme Intelligence was a machine mind created by the Kree civilization that contained the greatest minds of their people fused into a single entity. A reason for his development was due to the Kree empire learning of their ancient enemies the Skrulls capacity to had once made a powerful Cosmic Cube. As a result, the Kree themselves sought to create such a technological marvel but upon the Supreme Intelligence's activation, he refused to build the cosmic device as he knew of the dangers posed by the cubes. After refusing the request, the Supremor kept a vigilant eye on other civilizations in the cosmos with the capacity to create a Cosmic Cube. (Captain America Annual v1 #7)

Three hundred thousand years ago, the Supremor sensed his death at the hands of a future Inhuman that would become known as Black Bolt. To save himself, he created the Supremor Seed that was hidden within the Universal Weapon of an Accuser and serve as a means for his resurrection. (FF v1 #7)

Modern

Following the destruction of an Earth Kree Sentry, the Supreme Intelligence determined that the perpetrators were the Fantastic Four. He then used a mind probe to commune with them and told that their act would be judged by Ronan the Accuser who was dispatched to Earth to sentence the Fantastic Four for their actions. (Fantastic Four v1 #65)

Its goal in triggering the Nega-Bomb in Kree space was to end the genetic stagnancy of the species and allow them to grow on an evolutionary basis. The Supreme Intelligence revealed its role in the conclusion of the Kree/Shi'ar war leading to the Avengers battling the entity who produced facsimiles of their various villains. Ultimately, these were defeated and the Supremor was seemingly destroyed by the heroes in order to avenge the millions that had died as a result of the machines scheme. However, a teleportation beam had activated in the final moments thus sending the Supreme Intelligence to safety as he plotted his next scheme for the Kree empire. (Avengers v1 #347)

After the Nega-Bomb detonated, the Intelligence was reduced to a highly weakened almost half-life state where he fled to Earth. Once there, he exerted a mental command over several pink Kree led by Primus and tricked him into bringing a Nega-Bomb to the human homeworld. The pink Kree did this task unaware that it was due to the Supreme Intelligences command over them and they intended to detonate the weapon on the planet in order to inflict the same damage to it as had been done to their homeworld of Hala. During this time, the disembodied Supremor used the connection of the late Mar-Vell to Rick Jones in order to use him as a conduit. Jones was unaware that it was the Supreme Intelligence speaking to him and provided him cosmic powers. These abilities Jones used to help the Shi'ar Imperial Guard to prevent the detonation of the Nega-Bomb. However, the true goal of the Intelligence was to use the energy of the bomb to restore himself completely. Once done, it depowered Rick Jones, attacked Primus and asked M-Nell to join him though he refused after learning that the Supremor was responsible for the devastation of the Kree Empire in its goal to restart the species genetic potential. The Supreme Intelligence departed the planet where he intended to gather more Kree and encourage their newfound evolution within the surviving 10% survivors. (Imperial Guard v1 #3)

At the some point, the commerce group House Fiyero managed to take control of the Kree empire from the Supreme Intelligence. However, they dared not kill the intelligence but instead imprisoned him in a state of living death after taking him from Kree-Lar. During the invasion of the Annihilation Wave, the fugitive Ronan the Accuser made his way to the Kree capital where he killed the traitorous House Fiyero after they allied with Annihilus. He was informed by the caretakers of the Supreme Intelligence that their leader could not be revived from his half-life state. Thus, Ronan did the one act he could do which was of mercy where he shattered the Supreme Intelligence's container to allow the leader of the Kree to die. (Annihilation v1 #5) Despite that being the case, the husk of the Intelligence was recovered by the Phalanx with the Techno-Organic race intending to reactivate the entity in order to allow for a mass assimilation of the Kree species. (Annihilation: Conquest - Wraith v1 #3)

Supremor Seed

During the Black Vortex, the planet Hala was destroyed and the Supreme Intelligence was believed lost. Captain Victoria of the Spartax Royal Guard met the Collector at his temple in order to acquire the amber body of her father J-Son who was the former emperor of Spartax that was to stand for war crimes. However, this was a smokescreen for the Spartax wider mission of taking the seed of the Supreme Intelligence that resided in the collection. Spartax intended to keep it within their hands to prevent the leader of the Kree from arising again and thus leaving the Kree leaderless. (Legendary Star-Lord v1 #12)

After the destruction of Hala, the remains of the Supreme Intelligence remained but lacked the materials needed to regrow a body. The Inhumans in this time were being led by Noh-Varr to find the source of the Terrigen Mists. Noh-Varr was following the Kree-Venn directive namely to save this reality from itself and he determined that he could only to do this by bringing about the rebirth of the Supreme Intelligence. To aid the Inhumans and accomplish his goal, he used the seed of his Plex Intelligence as the medium to grow the Supreme Intelligence. He could mine the old one from information whilst a new one was modelled after the Plex to bring about the emergence of a new Kree empire. (Royals v1 #5)

Overview

Personality and attributes

According to the Intelligence, he was the living embodiment of power of the majestic Kree race. (Fantastic Four v1 #65)

One of the key goals of the Supremor was ending the genetic stagnancy of the Kree species as this was deemed a threat to their existence. To break this evolutionary deadlock, he decided to detonate a Nega-Bomb that devastated the Kree empire with this being deemed sufficient in evolving the race. (Avengers v1 #347)

Powers and abilities

The minds within consisted of both Blue Kree and the Pink Kree though such was the extent of the racial hatred of the latter by the former that the Supreme Intelligence needed an exterior power source to allow the minds to co-exist. (Silver Surfer v3 #6) The core of the Supremor was a organic structure that was an amalgamation of organic tissue and cybernetic material with this being the basis for a life support system. To protect itself, numerous tentacles were present designed to attack any intruders that journeyed to the core. (Avengers v1 #347)

The Multitude within him was able to foresee events in the far future and determine possible future events. (FF v1 #7)

To ensure his survival, the Supreme Intelligence was able to create the Supremor Seed that was an aspect of itself that could bring about his resurrection. (FF v1 #7)

Every Supreme Intelligence since the first grew from these seeds with one left behind if the original was killed. With proper materials, the seed could regrow itself and that material became a part of its new database. (Royals v1 #5)

The Intelligence could generate physical beings of substance and form that could be taken from the minds of his enemies. These could instantly form and be used against intruders as the Supremor defended himself from harm. (Avengers v1 #347) He could also create physical manifestations of himself with these being green-skinned bipedal constructs that were also known as the Supremor. Hailed as the Ultimate Kree, the robot was able to wage confrontations with the Supreme Intelligence's enemies and fight in battles. Multiple Supremors could be fielded and acted as his avatar that held his intellect. (Captain Marvel v1 #46)

Those Kree of high intellect became candidates for the Supremor's Personal Service Corps with such offspring being forcibly taken from their families should they refuse to hand over the child. (Inhumans v1 #4) He was also served by a Simian-Technos that was a small blue-skinned monkey-like creature who helped maintain his mechanical systems with one being Nullet. (Silver Surfer v3 #6)

The Plex was a programmable piezoplasm housing the accumulated wisdombase of the entire Kree race that was accessed through multiple personality complex interface. It consisted of personalities of Kree counsellors, generals, controllers and the homeguard all of whom were dedicated to the protection and survival of the Kree genecore. The Plex could also send information to a persons cerebral cortex via a brainstorm transfer.
