The temporal core was an essential unit in the Krenim Temporal Weapon Ship, powering its history-erasing weaponry as well as keeping the ship outside time. The temporal core was destroyed when Captain Janeway rammed a damaged U.S.S. Voyager into the Weapon Ship.
