Biography
Thundra
She answered She-Hulk's call alongside Valkyrie when Jennifer Walters looked to track the mysterious Red Hulk. With S.H.I.E.L.D. support from Maria Hill, the three female heroes found their quarry who managed to overpower them. (Hulk v2 #7) Thundra participated in the battle as the various female superheroes defeated the Red Hulk. She advocated cutting off his head but She-Hulk wanted to know their quarry’s true identity when he reverted to his human form. However, he never reverted as he was pretending to be unconscious. After his captors dropped their guard, he struck and knocked out the flying heroes whereupon he abducted Thundra. At an isolated site, he stated that he had no intention of killing her but actually wanted to recruit her as she showed the desire to kill and sought such a skill for a mission in the future. He then departed with Thundra lying to her allies by not revealing the Red Hulk’s discussion with her and stated that he left her once he had gotten away. (Hulk v2 #9)
