Ulic Qel-Droma

Ulic Qel-Droma is a male comic character who features in Star Wars.

Biography

Ulic Qel-Droma was a male human born a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. A native of Alderaan, he was a Force-sensitive human who became a great Jedi that lived some 4000 years prior to the war between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance. He believed he could tap into the Dark Side of the Force and return with the knowledge thus gained to the Light Side. Infiltrating the dark-side wizardly sect known as the Krath, he eventually discovered that its leaders, Satal Keto and Aleema, realized his intent and planned to kill him. Angry, Ulic killed Satal first, and Aleema gave Ulic Satal's Sith amulet.

Later, the fallen Jedi Exar Kun battled Ulic, and their Sith amulets interacted, summoning forth the spirits of ancient Sith Lords. They chose Kun as the new Dark Lord of the Sith, and Ulic was to be his student. Together, they started the Sith Wars, but Ulic later repented and betrayed Kun.

After the war, Jedi Knight Nomi Sunrider blinded him to the Force, and he wandered for a decade, repenting his past. He hired an individual named Hoggon to take him to the planet Rhen Var, where he lived alone until sought out by Vima Sunrider, daughter of Nomi. Vima asked him to train her, and he agreed, finding redemption in so doing. However, Hoggon, hoping to make a name for himself, killed Ulic. Ulic joined the Force as a forgiven Jedi Master.
