A resurgent Watchdogs came to be involved in international people trafficking with them working alongside Sin and A.I.M. One of their operations was shut down by the actions of Steve Rogers and the Daughters of Liberty. (Captain America v9 #14)

  • The Watchdogs were created by Mark Gruenwald and Tom Morgan where they made their first appearance in Captain America v1 #335 (Nov 1987).

Watchdogs in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
  • In Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.s, the Watchdogs were introduced into the shared continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They were first mentioned in the episode "The Inside Man" as an anti-Inhuman hate group. The Watchdogs made their first proper appearance in the episode "Watchdogs". They initially posted hate speech online on their website but became militant when former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Felix Blake came into their ranks where he turned them into a domestic terrorist group. Among their first actions was striking at a A.T.C.U. facility using experimental weaponry. Blake had created numerous cells for the group that had spread nation wide.
