Wicksteed

Wicksteed was a man who lived near the town of Port Burdock. Knowing nothing of the Invisible Man, Wicksteed noticed an iron bar from a fence floating, it seemed to him, through midair, and he chased it. Unfortunately for him, the Invisible Man was carrying it. He hit Wicksteed with the bar and killed him. Wicksteed had the dubious honor of being the first person Griffin murdered.
