History

The Wraith (Japanese: レイス, Hepburn: Reisu?) were a native race to the world of Aetha and were naturally aligned with the forces of Chaos.

Overview

In appearance, the Wraith were a Humanoid in appearance but with a palish skin with skeletal features. Their movement seemed to allow them to glide across their environment which was the result of their race's specialty which was time shifting.

Their society was divided into two castes; the aristocrats who were decadent and dangerous making them true enemies to the forces of Order while the other caste were the helots who lived in a different village in squalor conditions while being oppressed by their rulers. These fearsome and cadaverous beings have created a warped aristocratic society, with the ruling Wraith class living a life of opulence and excess while the peasants live in filth and squalor. Unsurprisingly the ruling class are selfish and evil, throwing lavish masked balls within sight of the starving masses. Conditions had further worsened over the years with the aristocracy demanding sacrifices from the peasant villages.

A particular class of warriors were the Valkyries that were Wraith warriors who served as guards for their leaders.

Wraiths were native to the realm of Aetha that was a bleak and oppressive place that suffered from ever teeming rain.
