The ruler of Saragar, Mareet, receives a visit from a time-traveller who warns of impending doom for Athas. Mareet orders his most powerful psionicists to investigate by entering the time stream. - Dungeons and Dragons (Dark Sun): c. 7928 BC (66th King's Age - Desert's Slumber (Y25)). Green Age. Mareet's psionicists succeed in their time-travel experiments, learning about the Cleansing Wars and the rest of the disasters that follow. Before Mareet can warn the rest of Athas, the three psionicists take control of him and combine their powers to hide Saragar from the outside world. The Mind Lords' rule begins.
