The Neo-Adaptoid was a new version of the Adaptoid created by AIM, also known as Batch 13. Escaping from its creators, the flawed Neo-Adaptoid blindly rampaged through Manhattan, attempting to reach out to others and search for an identity. It was confronted by Captain America and the Fantastic Force, and managed to mimic their powers even as it began to leak dangerous energies. Before it could reach a critical mass and explode, the Force sent the poor creature into another dimension.
