Jophery Brown

Jophery Brown was a worker at the Velociraptor pen at Jurassic Park. He served as "gatekeeper," meaning it was his job to open and close the entrance of the enclosure. During the transfer of a new arrival, the raptor dragged Jophery partially into the shipping container with her and began eating him. Despite the best efforts of Robert Muldoon to save him, he was killed by the dinosaur, which was then killed by the other workers with shotguns. Jophery's family filed a lawsuit against InGen over his death.

Comments

• Although Muldoon calls him by name ("Jophery, raise the gate!"), the film's credits simply identify him as "Worker in Raptor Pen." His surname, given in LEGO Jurassic World, is a nod to his actor, Jophery C. Brown.
• In the script, his first name is spelled "Joffrey."
• In the Topps comic adaptation, he is named Jose and he actually survives his encounter with the raptor.
