Deva Loka

Deva Loka was a forested world, designated S14 by Earth colonial authorities, that was the home of the Kinda. An expeditionary force was sent by Earth around 2782 to investigate the planet for colonization, and the Mara, having resided here since leaving Manussa, tried to stir up strife between the natives and the Earth forces. However, the Fifth Doctor was able to banish the Mara, and Sanders, the expedition leader, decided to recommend against colonization in order to protect the Kinda.
