Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events.
To improve herself, Lady Clay began using her clay feathers to form into people that she sent out into the world to lead different lives. This was so that they could return and she would absorb their experiences in an effort to attain perfection. One piece went to the Magus Theatre which became the site of Melmoths resurrection with the attendees souls being sacrificed for his return. This included the part of Lady Clay who felt that a piece of her soul was taken from her. She later joined Frankenstein and other monstrous inhabitants of Gotham to find and stop Melmoth from achieving his goals. (Gotham City Monsters v1 #4)
