Steven Teague

Steven Teague was Doug Spinney's partner, an eco-terrorist and "monkeywrencher" who enjoyed making life miserable for lumberjacks and lumber mills. Teague, Spinney and two of their friends sabotaged the Schiff-Immergut logging camp and soon wished they hadn't, for the Schiff-Immergut loggers had accidentally unleashed prehistoric insects from their slumber within an old growth tree. The loggers notwithstanding, Teague was the first person killed by the insects. According to Spinney, they took him right off his feet and devoured him alive. His dessicated corpse was found sometime later, cocooned in a tree, by FBI agents Mulder and Scully and Ranger Moore.
