Dr. Vincent Devlon was a scientist assisting Dr. Zin at Zin's volcano lair in Peru in creating synthetic gold using Leonardo Da Vinci's notes on alchemy. He got greedy however and stole the CD containing all of his and Zin's scientific notes, planning to get rich by creating all the gold for himself. When Zin tracked Devlon down in Venice, Devlon returned the disc to Zin and pleaded for mercy. Zin's response was to have his robot blast Devlon with its laser, completely disintegrating the scientist for betraying him.
