After his father, a cop, was killed, Wayne Williams had to help support both his mother and himself. However, Williams' life changed forever when he was framed by a criminal named Handz for a crime he didn't commit. Sent to prison, Williams chose not to let his anger at the situation fester. Instead, he began training himself, growing strong in both body and mind. After getting out, Williams decided to avenge himself, and- inspired by a bat that kept him company in his cell- Wayne Williams became the Batman.
