He survived being held hostage by a hijacker who fell prey to the [[Infektikon]]'s [[Psi-Virus|psi-virus]]. Infected himself, Boostrom's aggression manifested as a shadow and tried to kill him. Boostrom was saved by [[Green Lantern]] and the [[Flash]], who (after investigating the shadow's origins) destroyed Boostrom's shade. Boostrom was taken to a hospital, and presumably recovered.
