Overseen by the greedy [[Meece, Warden Cyrus|Warden Meece]], Megakat Maximum Security Prison was the most financially secure criminal correctional facility in all of [[Megakat City]]. During a routine visit to the prison, [[Mayor Manx|Mayor Manx]] and [[Callie Briggs|Deputy Mayor Briggs]] learned that Meece funded the prison with diamonds mined by the convicts from the nearby mountains. The prison was ultimately destroyed following [[Rex Shard|Rex Shard's]] accident with the [[Gemkat 6000]]: most of the facility was turned to crystal by Shard, and after growing to gargantuan proportions he threw a crystallized [[Enforcer Tank|Enforcer tank]] into the main building, demolishing it.
