'''Maria Renard''' is a female video game character who features in [[Castlevania]]. ==Biography== Maria Renard (Japanese: マリア・ラーネッド, Hepburn: Maria Rāneddo) was a female human who was born to the Renard family. In [[1792]], her parents were killed and she was captured along with several other young women where they were taken to [[Castle Dracula]]. Four years later, Richter was noted to had disappeared with Maria setting out to find him. She spent a year searching for him where she found him in [[1797]] at Castlevania. At the castle, she discovered that Richter had fallen under the sway of Shaft and the dark forces of his master. Maria came to help the half-vampire [[Alucard (Castlevania)|Alucard]] where they were able to break Shaft's control over Richter thus defeating Dracula. ==Overview== ===Personality and attributes=== In appearance, Maria Renard was a cute and innocent-looking little girl with long golden blond or reddish-blond hair.
