During Jordy Verrill's second (technically first) attempt to contact Geeson for help, he got the doctor's answering machine explaining that Dr. Higgins was seeing his patients. Jordy hung up and never called Higgins for unknown reasons. ==Comments== *Why Jordy opted not to see Higgins is never explained. If he was desperate enough to see Geeson, who he envisioned as a cleaver-wielding lunatic despite knowing by name, he ought to have been willing to see a total stranger. *The scene of Jordy calling Geeson and getting his answering machine is only in the comic book version of ''[[The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill]]''.
