To escape from assassins, the Princess flew to Japan during which time her plane was destroyed by a bomb. However she became possessed by a Venusian and survived. Selling her golden bracelet of succession to a fisherman, Selina the Venusian preached Doomsday to the people of Japan. She predicted the return of both [[Godzilla and]] [[Rodan]] as well as the first appearance of [[King Ghidorah]]. [[Detective Shindo|Police Detective Shindo]], assigned to protect her, assumed her to be insane and brought her to see [[Dr. Tsukamoto]] at his [[Tsukamoto Laboratory|clinic]], although the psychiatrist was unable to determine whether she was in fact insane. In the meantime assassins from Selgina, led by [[Malmess]], came to Japan to kill the Princess and steal the bracelet. The possessed Selina was protected by Shindo although in the end it was a (non-fatal) bullet from Malmess' gun that restored the Princess' memory and broke her spell.
