It was believed that the location of the Troll Market had been the source of speculation for centuries. However, clues to where it was based came from the fact that Trolls dwelling under bridges. This led to the occultist Vladimir Vanya in the 18th century believing that the entrance into the market was situated under the Brooklyn Bridge.
