Farragher was a thuggish investor who was part of Zelman and Associates. Between himself, Zelman and Poehler, Farragher was the most openly hateful towards Carl Denham, who he considered "a preening self-promoter." It was Farragher who suggested to Zelman that they scrap Denham's picture and sell the existing reels as stock footage to Universal Studios.
