Ellis was a Jurassic World worker at Paddock 11. When it seemed as if the Indominus rex had escaped, he went inside the paddock with his supervisor, Nick, and Owen Grady to try and determine how she'd gotten away. When it turned out that the dinosaur was still in there with them, the three men attempted to get out, but Ellis was grabbed and eaten by Indominus.
