A mousy biochemist, Dr. Johnson was a mutual colleague of Dr. William Barton and Dr. Tom Morgan. Along with Dr. Borg, he accompanied them on their expedition to find the Gill Man in the Florida Everglades and assisted them in their surgical transformation of the creature.
