The Mechanical Monsters were gigantic robots created by the Inventor for use in his robberies. Dubbed the Mechanical Monsters by the Daily Planet, these robots were designated by number and were controlled by the Inventor via radio signals from his hidden lair in the mountains. Armored and bulletproof and equipped with flame-throwers, the Mechanical Monsters were capable of smashing pretty much anything to bits, giving even Superman a run for his money.
