Charles Weston was a New York theatrical agent.
King Kong (1933)
Weston was hired by Carl Denham to hire him an actress for his movie. However, Weston was unable to find one due to Denham's reputation for recklessness. Denham then vowed to find a girl on his own, without Weston's help.
King Kong (2005)
Weston is producing a play that Ann Darrow wants to be a part of, only to learn that he had already cast someone in the role she wanted. However Weston, feeling sorry for her, gave her the address of a nightclub where he told her she could find work. Although Ann did not go through with it, this ultimately led to her meeting Carl Denham.
