An elderly servant who tended to the gardens of the Dr. Mafune's mansion, Mafune's butler was Dr. Mafune's loyal servant. A surprisingly strong man despite his age and frail appearance, the butler was often tasked with keeping an eye on the Doctor's errant cyborg daughter, Katsura. Among other missions he spied on Katsura when she went to see Akira Ichinose, and subsequently reported back to her father, and later accompanied her to sabotage Interpol's sonic wave oscillator.
