Von Romme was a businessman who was using a bio-dome, located near Doug Wildey's ranch, as a front for uranium mining. He sold the uranium to terrorists for making nuclear weapons. Suspicious of von Romme's actions, Wildey, along with his grandson Jonny Quest and Hadji Singh, infiltrated von Romme's base. After they defeated several of von Romme's guards, von Romme himself pursued them in a hovercraft, but crashed, causing himself to land in a large store of uranium ore. He died from extreme radiation poisoning.
