Gemkat 6000

The Gemkat 6000 is an experimental diamond mining machine built by Dr. Lieter Greenbox for Warden Cyrus Meece. Although it looked complicated, the Gemkat 6000 was simple to use: one merely pointed it at a wall of rock and the powerful, mega-hot laser beam would convert the otherwise useless minerals into precious stones (presumably this was done by heating the rocks to the point of crystallization). The device was the cause of Rex Shard's transformation into a crystal cat, a problem that was solved by Razor when he rewired the Gemkat 6000 and used it to turn Shard back to normal.
